Once you have decided on the type and style of custom home you want to build, you need to complete your house plans.  Before we can help you with your project, we need have a set of your plans to work from.  You can either hire a local architect or we can refer you to our building technologists, RSM Drafting Services LTD. Choose an Option

Once Country Cabin Log Homes receives a clients house plans they develop a project cost estimate using the building systems format.  Cost is usually the primary concern for our clients, thus providing their clients with cost management options is essential to ensuring a successful and on budget project.   

The three leading factors, which greatly affect the overall price of a project, are: 

  • Size or diameter of wood used in Main Floor System,
  • Log versus Dimensional wood products ratio in Roof System, and
  • Intensity of manufacturing - the number of custom notches and the amount of specialty manufacturing used on the project.

Country Cabin Log Homes will work with their customers to find the best option for every component that makes up the project.  We provide our clients with options on cost effective methods for achieving the desired look of the project while maintaining the structural integrity of the building.  Country Cabin Log Homes ensures that their clients find a balance between price, aesthetics, and functionality for their project.

Payment and Manufacturing

Once a System Built Format has been set-up for a client, Country Cabin Log Homes will draft a Purchase Order listing the product deliverables and the terms of the sale, while the house plans are being updated to reflect any changes. We will send the purchase order to the client for signing. 

Once the client has provided Country Cabin Log Homes with a signed Purchase Order, a set of updated House Plans, and a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the total project price, our company will begin milling and manufacturing the building.  It typically takes 4 to 6 weeks to complete a custom project; however, the terms for delivery will be listed in the purchase order. 

Choice of having your home constructed on Country Cabin Log Homes site prior to shipping to ensure there will not be any potential construction problems at your end site.

Once Country Cabin Log Homes has completed the custom building, the client must pay the remaining 50% of the total project price prior to shipping.  All prices are in United States currency and payments must be either by certified cheque, bank draft, or wire transfer to our bank in Omak, Washington.

Customer Support

Once the client's products have been shipped, Country Cabin Log Homes enters the most important phase of the project, Customer Support. Country Cabin Log Homes warranties all of its' System Built Projects. 

Country Cabin Log Homes will track the shipment as it makes its' way from their plant in Vernon, British Columbia, to the client's construction site.  If the client has a problem assembling the System Built Structure a Country Cabin Log Homes representative will visit the work site to help solve any problems and ensure that the client is satisfied with their product.  If something doesn't fit we will replace it, and try to get to the work site within 2 to 5 days. 

It has been Country Cabin Log Homes experience that 99% of all problems reported by customers have resulted from the actions of third party builders, unfamiliar with system built structures.  Country Cabin Log Homes recommends to all their customers to use our associated builder/dealers.
